Cormonachan Woodlands
Cormonachan Woodlands is a not-for-profit organisation that manages the woodlands for its owners, Forestry & Land Scotland. Stretching along the banks of Loch Goil, the woods are looked after by local volunteers. Recently they have greatly enhanced the visitor experience, installing new hides to view squirrels whilst extending and improving pathways and tracks.
Puck's Glen near Dunoon

Falls of Dochart, Killin
The Falls of Dochart are in the pretty village of Killin, within the National Park, but very close to the outer boundary of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. As you can see from the map below, they are actually in the village. The main A827 road has to pass over the falls to access Killin. Great Trossachs Path
The Great Trossachs Path is one of Scotland's Great Trails. The path, between Inversnaid and Callander, goes through the second-largest nature reserve in Britain, an area the size of Glasgow. The path connects with other Great Trails, Rob Roy Way, West Highland Way and Three Lochs Way. It is also ideal for cycling, with sections on NCN7 and alongside Loch Katrine.

Aber Shore has to be one of the loveliest walks in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs. Just a short distance from the shops in Callander is the beautiful Bracklinn Falls. From the car park, it’s just under a mile to walk to the falls. Kilmun Arboretum
Kilmun Arboretum in the village of Kilmun, by Holy Loch on the Cowal Penninsula. Kilmun Arboretum features around 150 different tree species seen from trails. See ornamental maples, Japanese cedars, Himalayan spruce, redwood and sequoias from California, monkey puzzles from South America and Eucalyptus from the Australian bush. There is a connecting path to Puck's Glen and Benmore Botanic Garden.
RSPB Gartocharn
RSPB Scotland has two excellent reserves in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, at Inversnaid and Gartocharn, with very knowledgable and friendly wardens. Visit Falls of Falloch

Children will love the Play Trail at Glen Finglas in The Trossachs. This is p of the Great Trossachs Forest and managed by The Woodland Trust. At Glen Finglas in The Trossachs, there are many fine trails. However, if your children are not as fond of walking as you are, the Play Trail will probably be your best excuse to get all of the family out on a rewarding and fun walk. Family Trossachs.
