Glenbranter, Argyll Forest
Glenbranter is a Forestry and Land Scotland site in Argyll Forest, on the Cowal Penninsula. It can be found close to the A815, between Strachur and the start of Loch Eck. There is a visitor centre, which is currently closed due to Covid restrictions. The site does have toilets, information boards, parking and picnic tables. This destination is another of the excellent locations in Argyll Forest.

Kilmun Arboretum
Kilmun Arboretum in the village of Kilmun, by Holy Loch on the Cowal Penninsula. Kilmun Arboretum features around 150 different tree species seen from trails. Cormonachan Woodlands
Cormonachan Woodlands is a not-for-profit organisation that manages the woodlands for its owners, Forestry & Land Scotland. Stretching along the banks of Loch Goil, the woods are looked after by local volunteers. Recently they have greatly enhanced the visitor experience, installing new hides to view squirrels whilst extending and improving pathways and tracks.
