Walk Balmaha to Rowardennan
Continuing our series of sections of the West Highland Way within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park with a very special part of the 96-mile walk. This is Balmaha to Rowardennan, a beautiful and mostly easy section of the route. It's 7 miles long and will take you around 2.5 to 3 hours to walk it.
Aber Shore, Loch Lomond

A walk East Creag Mhor at St Fillans provides some outstanding views of Loch Earn. This 90-minute walk is mainly through forestry tracks. Puck's Glen near Dunoon
A guide to the magnificent and enchanted Puck's Glen gorge, near Dunoon. The pathway through the Argyll Forest gets you up close with the rushing waterfalls. Creag an Tuirc, Balquhidder
A short, sharp climb takes you to Creag an Tuirc, a magnificent viewpoint where you can take in Loch Voil and the Braes of Balquhidder. Great Trossachs Path
The Great Trossachs Path is one of Scotland's Great Trails. The path, between Inversnaid and Callander, goes through the second-largest nature reserve in Britain, an area the size of Glasgow. The path connects with other Great Trails, Rob Roy Way, West Highland Way and Three Lochs Way. It is also ideal for cycling, with sections on NCN7 and alongside Loch Katrine.

Doon Hill, Aberfoyle
The legendary story of Reverend Robert Kirk who was a minister in Aberfoyle between 1685-1692. He put Aberfoyle on the map as the ‘Faerie Capital’, inspiring many people to walk up Doon Hill with the story of him being abducted by the faeries for revealing their secrets. Reverend Kirk famously told the secrets of fairies in a book that he wrote. They are said to have had their revenge though, when he took a walk-up Doon Hill, as they took his soul, trapping it in a pine tree at the top of the hill.

Drymen to Buchanan Walk
A circular walk starting and ending at Drymen Village Square, covering a section of the West Highland Way near Conic Hill, before heading into Buchanan Castle Estate, with a possible detour to the ruins of Buchanan Castle. A walk that can also be cycled.
