St Fillans

St Fillans is a beautiful village on the banks of Loch Earn, and you can read more about it at our guide (linked below). This guide features some photographs of a lovely circular walk around East Creag Mhor.

We chose to start the walk next to the Four Seasons Hotel, parking in a lay-by nearby. Just a few minutes along the path, you get some excellent views of Loch Earn. Here are some photographs of the pathways and landmarks along the route of the walk.

Time to take a breather at this picnic table after the uphill walk and enjoy a marvellous view of Loch Earn. As you can see, you are mainly following forestry tracks.

The last section was quite overgrown, and the route of the path into the village is not always obvious. The walk takes around 90 minutes and provides some excellent views of Loch Earn. Take some time to explore beautiful St Fillans before following the main road back to the starting point.
